Regency Place June Newsletter

We would like to update everyone on some things that are in
the works for our community. These are some of the things
that were discussed at our last ARC meeting on June 5th. I
would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to
attend our community meeting every 1st Tuesday at 7 P.M. in
Town Hall, so that we may receive feedback from you, our
neighbors. We are just the voice of Regency Place and we
would like to know if there is anything else that should be
addressed. We value any input to all issues that concern
our neighborhood.

BOCA WINDS MAIN ENTRANCE: The main board selected a
proposal and the project will move forward. The vote was
not a unanimous one, ending 5-3 in favor.

REGENCY PLACE ENTRANCE: Our ARC committee decided to
improve our entrance by placing a Regency Place sign along
with lighting on the single column across from the existing
sign. This will be helpful to our visitors coming from the
back entrance of Boca Winds. They will be able to see
Regency before they pass it.

We have also chosen new landscaping for our entrance. They
will be planting “Hearts of Florida Red Caladiums”. Nick
Rongione, who knows a lot about plants, has said that they
are very hearty and will survive our brutal summer nicely.
We will not incur any assessments for these improvements.

As we all know school is out and that means that there are
kids everywhere. We have already seen two tragic
incidences with the death of one of our West Boca High
graduates in a car accident and the accident at the pool
involving one of our own children. As parents we must keep
an eye out at all times and say something if a situation
doesn’t seem right not only for our children, but for all
children. After all we are a neighborhood and that is what
neighbors do.
