The ARC met on June 28, 2010. There were three members present and one new Monterey Bay resident in the audience.
There was one architectural modification request for accordian hurricane shutters, which was approved.
There was discussion about the efforts by Comcast to renew our bulk cable contract ahead of schedule. This appears to be an effort by Comcast to capture business ahead of other carriers that may be able to offer service in our area in the near future.
The chair informed the committee about the new law (SB1196) which will allow the association to collect rents from tenants whose landlords owe the association money or face eviction. The new law takes effect July 1st.
The committee welcomed the newest resident to Monterey Bay.
