CARLYLE ESTATES NEWSLETTER
MAY 2007

I am pleased to post our first newsletter and hope to keep
our homeowners here in Carlyle Estates informed and
up-to-date of issues and events in our Boca Winds
Community. My main objective is to ensure that Carlyle
Estates remains a peaceful and safe place to live and
raise our children.

We have 77 homes in Carlyle Estates and we have 6 members
of the ARC representing our subdivision. They include:

Dom Potenzini
Art Chioffee
Ken Grill
Roy Jeslenic
Dean Phelps
Mark Wiley

We are all here on a VOLUNTARY basis and try our best to
keep our neighborhood looking great!

We meet once a month and the date is always posted on our
website calendar plus signs are posted at both entrances in
advance. One great thing is that the meeting is right
before the Boca Winds Board’s monthly meeting so you can
stay and get updated on our whole community all in one
evening.

Here are the current issues for Carlyle Estates:

1. New entrance signs and landscaping – As you may have
already have noticed, our entrance which is across from
Regency Place is finally getting a facelift. We will be
getting two new signs, one on each side of Collington Drive
with new landscaping. At present, we are getting bids for
the signs and also for solar lighting. Since there is no
electricity present at the location, we have to go with
solar lighting. I will keep you posted on the progress.

2. Home improvements/painting – This topic seems to be a
very hot issue at most of our meetings. Please remember
that before you decide to paint your home or driveway, you
must submit a Request for Modification form which is on our
website or at the Town Hall and attach color samples of
your desired colors. Please do not paint anything before
getting approval.

3. Vandalism – Since the attacks on our mailboxes last
year, things have been pretty peaceful. If anyone has any
reports of vandalism, please let me know, call Town Hall or
the police.

4. Security – In addition to Sheriff patrol cars we also
have officers patrolling in unmarked vehicles. If you have
any non-emergency needs, the phone number to contact
officers here in Boca Winds is 995-2800.

5. Front entrance project – The Capital Improvement
Committee is currently obtaining bids from approximately
three to four different companies for the new entrance
features. As soon as we get a positive date that the work
will start, I will let you know. There will be no
additional assessment to the homeowners in the event that
there are extra costs.

This concludes our first newsletter for Carlyle Estates.
If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail me at
babydom31@aol.com or call the Town Hall at 451-3899.
